Ultraviolette absorber UV-1164 wordt gebruikt als lichtstabilisator, geschikt voor polyoxymethyleen, polyamide, polycarbonaat, polyethyleen, polyetheramine, ABS-hars en polymethylmethacrylaat, enz. Het is vooral geschikt voor nylon en technische kunststoffen.Aanbevolen dosering: polyethyleen 0,2-0,4%;polycarbonaat 0,15-0,3%;ABS-hars 0,3-0,5%.
