Uiterlijk: wit of lichtgeel poeder. Smeltpunt 335-342 ℃, licht oplosbaar in alcohol en ether, vrijwel onoplosbaar in water. Dit product wordt hoofdzakelijk gebruikt als vervanging voor decabromodifenylether vlamvertrager en kan worden toegepast in HIPS, ABS-hars en kunststoffen zoals PVC en PP.
