Wat is clindamycinefosfaat CAS 24729-96-2?

Clindamycinefosfaat is een semi-synthetisch derivaat van clindamycine, dat bij kamertemperatuur verschijnt als een wit of gebroken wit kristallijn poeder. Het is geurloos, heeft een bittere smaak en is hygroscopisch. Het heeft in vitro geen antibacteriële werking en kan alleen farmacologische effecten uitoefenen door snel te hydrolyseren tot clindamycine na opname in het lichaam.

Het kan worden gebruikt voor mensen die allergisch zijn voor penicilline.
