(6-Aminohexyl)carbaminezuur wordt voornamelijk gebruikt als vulkanisatiemiddel voor fluorrubber, ethyleenacrylaatrubber en polyurethaanrubber, maar ook als modificator voor synthetisch rubber en als actief vulkanisatiemiddel voor natuurrubber, butylrubber, isopreenrubber en styreenbutadieenrubber. Na gebruik behoudt het de oorspronkelijke heldere kleur van rubberproducten.
